Mobile & Arduino Notes

I've been reading about Arduino boards for years and a few months ago I decided it was time to "jump in".  This board and tutorial is the easiest way I've found.

I'm also wanting to find a simple way to do Android programming and have installed this simple (18 lines of code) program on my Android phone. The previous tutorial is no longer available so looking for a replacement..  Here is the wiki. Here is a nice 5 page PDF and the code for APDE.

This looks like a nice project: Today's version of OpenXC (a data-focused API for your car) runs on a combination of the Arduino and Android platforms.

The past several years I've enjoyed attending Maker Faire: Kansas City, an event guided by the staff of MAKE Magazine and the Maker Faire.

It sure is nice to see where some of this stuff is going:
Arduino Your Home & Environment
Farm Geeks: Learning to Love the Circuit Board
FarmHack is a community for those who embrace the long-standing farm traditions of tinkering, inventing, fabricating, tweaking, and improving things that break.
New! Waspmote is an industrial Arduino.

Notes on porting CtrlTerm to Java with hope to then port to Android (also new port for Android console program).

An interesting page: Processing & Interactivity for Educators

Please share your ideas, comments and suggestions. Thanks!
